Due to the made-to-order nature of the Kaftans, payments are taken upfront and returns aren’t available. IN THE DESIGN ROOM
Hour by hour, day by day, our team of creatives breathe life into each and every one our designs, with each garment passing through many magic hands.
The design process begins with our prints, where our in-house artists weave magic, drawing and painting each unique design. Defined by vibrant colour, each print perfectly tells the story of founder Camilla Franks’ journeys through the unexpected and unknown.
Our designers then create the silhouettes that define each collection: starting with the iconic pieces that defined the brand’s beginning, then moving modern ready-to-wear pieces and experimenting with new shapes.
Our prints are meticulously placed to each unique pattern, and then each embellishment is placed by hand. The storytelling continues in the design details: look closely and you’ll find bespoke charms and hardware signature to the collection.
In The Design Room
Every season, our design space at Villa CAMILLA becomes a working canvas, with textiles, clothes, photos and inspiration-boards in every corner. We will often sit late into the night on the floor, surrounded by images, and collectible curiosities mapping out the collection and our vision.
Dreamy Swarovski crystals are delicately placed by hand in four unique designs. Perfectly cut, each crystal offers a glittering iridescent shine, which will catch the light everywhere you go. Each neckline takes approximately twenty hours to lovingly create, with between 4000-7000 crystals on each kaftan, with a signature Swarovski Crystal 'Cxx' at the back of the neck.

To the hardwood columns with delicate marble inlay that have stood watch over bygone palaces or the walls that hang heavy with intricately pieced together travel treasures, we want you to experience our magic, and leave a new person, knowing yourself that little bit better.

An ode to Mother Earth’s magic, Amazonia is a vintage print reworked for the modern day which transports kindred spirits to flourishing rainforests. Decadent silk unites vibrant greens with dainty purples, cherry reds and muted emeralds.
Notre’s Dame
An unseen print, this is a homage to the Notre-Dame de Paris, Notre's Dame reimagines the French Gothic masterpiece of the Middle Ages. Marvel as facades, stain-glassed windows and photographic images are brought to life through dark silks and golden detailing.
Feline
A look to that which is wild and free, Feline explores the untamed essence. A silk landscape sees leopard and zebra prints fuse into an effortless blending of worlds in a reimagining of a vintage print from our Babylon collection.
Captain’s Call
Set sail for distant horizons, Captain's Call is an unseen print that offers you a world of sunset hues and dreamy shores. Deep dive into palettes of rich purples meeting flashes of pink and delicate blushes. A story of nirvana and its wild inhabitants that took seven days to create.
